ZRRO (Pornunciado Zero, no Zorro) es un nuevo proyecto en Kickstarter de la mano de los creadores de Pressy (el boton extra para el móvil que copió Xiamoi)

Sinceramente, no le veo mercado.

Veo que el mercado del ocio esta muy segmentado en entretenimiento fijo (Consolas, pc's...) y portátil. La gama de consolas a su vez se divide entre potencia (Playstation, Xbox y PC's) y jugabilidad (Wii).

Así pues, no veo que exista una demanda de ocio "portatil" (juegos de android) sobre una plataforma fija.

Pero vamos yo que sabré de estas cosas...

Ouya 2.0, o mejor dicho. Ostiazo 2.0

Quien es gamer, jugará en PS4 o XBO o PC.
Quien es casual jugará en el móvil, pero ni de coña se va a comprar un cacharro de estos.

Nadie se va a gastar 150€ en una consola que no hace bien ni una cosa ni otra. Y menos habiendo visto el fracaso de sus antepasados.

#5 En los comentarios dicen que Ouya se la pego porque había que desarrollar explicitamente para ellos. Ademas siempre tuvo fama de tener una pésima gestion de proyecto. Esta es solo un movil grande y con un "mando" táctil, cosa que nadie ha hecho hasta ahora, lo que les permite tener acceso a toda la Google Play.

Yo creo que el mercado real seran juegos de tablet, no de movil ademas de las apps como Netflix y para ver futbol.

#6 cuando tienes soluciones como el chromecast, apple tv y otras opciones de dlna para enviar el contenido del smartphone a tu TV, un cacharro de estos pierde sentido.

Y mas en un entorno en el que los juegos (Android o iOS) te duran instalados un dia en el movil, de verdad que dudo mucho que esto se llegue a vender lo suficiente como para que sean solventes y rentables.

#7 Stream = lag. Aunque no lo he probado por mí mismo.

Yo instalé Clash of Clans hace más de un año y antes he jugado a varios durante suficiente tiempo. Como digo, el gaming vende, pero no deja de ser un android box con control táctil.

#8 ojo, no dudo que el funding no lo lleguen a conseguir, esta claro que llegarán fijo. Ouya se sobrepasó en millones, pero ahí los tienes, hundidos en el más profundo olvido. Así creo que será este caso también.

Lets stretch

Many of you are Kickstarter experts, but for the “first-timers”, a stretch goal is a higher goal that if we will hit everyone will benefit from.

So… if we will hit 250K, we'll upgrade the shipped ZRROs to the 812 SoC instead of the 802, the best in AMLogic's Android box series.

Behind the scenes

You might have seen that we opened and received a 10K reward for other console manufacturers to integrate the ZRRO Pad with their consoles. We want to use this update to guarantee 3 things:

You guys will get it first and the integrations shouldn't cause any delay
Your ZRRO Pad will work with ANY console
If one of the other consoles will offer a better spec, you will have the option to upgrade.

y cuanto piden por esta "consola" que no deberia valer mas de 100 euros?
