Un gran salto plataformero que recorre más de 30 años de historia, mirando al pasado, pero también lanzando una gorra de innovación hacia el futuro. Super Mario Odyssey manifiesta la intención de Nintendo de evolucionar, poniendo los pies en el presente pero sin olvidar cuál es su estilo. El videojuego es un espectáculo de variedad, talento y diversión. Uno de esos títulos que justifican la compra de una consola y que no podrás quitarte de la cabeza hasta que a los propios desarrolladores se les ocurra algo mejor que hacer con el fontanero… o su gorra.

Una obra maestra que se coloca en el perfecto equilibrio de dificultad, exploración y saltos. Es todo un homenaje a la saga, que conserva su identidad "made in Nintendo" pero que se renueva, y nos ofrece un estilo de juego abierto que no para de crecer. Un juego imprescindible.

IGN España - 9.7 / 10

Una pequeña joya tan bonito como divertido, accesible y profundo. No hay prácticamente ningún aspecto de Super Mario Odyssey que desentone, con la excepción del multijugador. Otro imprescindible que se suma al creciente catálogo de exclusivos en Nintendo Switch.

Un grandísimo juego que consigue lo más importante: sorprender y darle un nuevo registro a la saga Mario, uno familiar pero a la misma vez diferente y evolucionado. Los que tengan a la primera incursión del fontanero en el universo poligonal como juego favorito disfrutarán enormemente con Odyssey, pero en general es un título universal, que convencerá con los mismos argumentos con los que lo hizo Mario 64: hacer disfrutar al jugador a cada salto, a cada momento y a cada sorpresa.

El videojuego en su estado más puro, capaz de divertirte, desafiarte y evadirte mientras juegas con una sonrisa dibujada en la cara, y vuelves a sentirte un niño, igual que cuando disfrutaste de Super Mario World, Super Mario 64 o Super Mario Galaxy. Si en los últimos tiempos has llegado a dudar del futuro de este medio de entretenimiento y expresión juega a Super Mario Odyssey, seguro que se te pasa.

Super Mario Odyssey is the game that we've been waiting to play for more than 20 years. It feels like it borrows key elements from almost every Mario game that has come before it to create what is possibly not only the greatest Mario game, but one of the best 3D platformers of all time.

Outside of a few instances where the camera took on a mind of its own, I can't think of a moment when I wasn't enjoying myself while journeying with Mario and Cappy.
